The Ficus Tsiela makes an interesting bonsai because of its aerial roots and golden trunk. It is not very hardy however, and tends to lose branches.

This tree was originally an aerial root that was collected from a roadside tree and established. It is being redesigned to take advantage of the interesting trunk movement.

Future development will aim at improving the surface roots and creating fine ramifications with attendant reduction in leaf size.
